Dean's Message

To our students,

Our Faculty, upon the proposal letters of the Ministry of National Education, was decided by the Council of Ministers on 17/01/2018 according to the additional 30th article of the Law numbered 2809 dated 28/3/1983. It was published in the Official Gazette dated 16 February 2018 and numbered 30334 and began education. The faculty has 10 departments: Nursing, Nutrition and Dietetics, Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation, Health Management, Child Development, Social Work, Audiology, Emergency and Disaster Management, Gerontology and Midwifery. With a 100% occupancy rate, the Department of Nursing has started education during the 2019-2020 period.

Our faculty has adopted a student-centred approach and lifelong learning as they are central principles. Our faculty members are open to innovation and technological developments, the rigorous use of scientific methods, and to contributing to the protection and improvement of the health of society. This is based on ethical values, scientific analysis and synthesis, as well as collaborative work. It aims to train health professionals who are committed to continuing development. With the increasing academic and administrative staff with high quality physics and technical infrastructure for scientific and technological developments, we will be proud of our students who will be trained scientifically, culturally and socially.

You have come to our university and faculty that carries out student-centred educational activities; provides domestic and international student exchange programs, graduates are appreciated and accepted as priority to institutions, ensures post-graduation job guarantee, sensitive institution about the problems areas in the region and provides solutions for the society.

Our faculty has started education in the 2019-2020 academic period while developing itself every year.  Our faculty has achieved national standards in education, training and practice by conducting research and applications for scientific and social problems with a solution-oriented approach. The Faculty has a high sense of corporate culture and belonging. The academic and administrative staff will do their best to become a respectful and high-quality faculty without holding any concern about this goal.
