According to the Webometrics World University Rankings (Webometrics Ranking of Universities), Bartın University managed to outpace 3,879 universities in 3 years.
Webometrics World University Rankings (Webometrics Ranking of Universities), which evaluates higher education institutions in the world on the basis of size, visibility, openness and excellence indicators, has been announced for July 2020. Bartın University, which has managed to attract more and more attention of the public with its studies with hard work. Bartın University has managed to rise by 3,879 steps in the evaluation covering 3 years since 2017. Our university, which ranked 7 thousand 37th in the ranking in 2017. Importantly, Bartın University climbed 3,879 steps in the ranking announced in July 2020, and ranked 3,158th in the world.
This means that BArtın University managed to be among the top 800 universities in the world.

With the success shown in Webometrics, our university has been among the universities that are worth ranking for the first time this year in the SCImago Ranking of Institutions (SIR), which ranks world universities in 3 indicators, including research performance, innovation inputs, and social impact factors through web visibility.

Our University, which succeeded in making a rapid entry into the SCImago ranking, shared the 800th place among the 3,897 higher education institutions listed, along with 12 universities from countries such as America, Russia and Czechia.
