AFAD - Disaster Awareness Training was conducted in collaboration with Bartın University Faculty of Forestry

On March 22, 2024, in collaboration with Bartın University Faculty of Forestry, an AFAD-Disaster Awareness Training was conducted for academic staff and students. As part of the training, Disaster Education Specialist Uzay AYYAR from the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) Bartın Provincial Directorate provided training on AFAD's structure and disaster awareness. Civil Engineer Engin DEMİRCİ provided training on emergency intervention in fires, and Education Branch Manager Seçil ÖZAK DOĞAN provided training on the AFAD Volunteer System. Dean of Bartın University Faculty of Forestry, Prof. Dr. Birsen DURKAYA, Vice Dean Assoc. Prof. Dr. Şahin PALTA, Vice Dean of Faculty of Health Sciences, Dr. Assistant Prof. Elif İŞLEK, along with academic and administrative staff, and students participated in the training. The training was concluded with the participation of academic and administrative staff as well as students, with questions being answered.
