A MEETING WAS HELD WITH FIRST-YEAR MIDWIFERY STUDENTS AT THE BEGINNING OF THE SEMESTER

The Faculty of Health Sciences Midwifery Department of our university held an evaluation meeting with first-year students at the beginning of the semester. The meeting addressed topics such as students' expectations regarding the educational process, pre-internship preparations, an introductory event for newly enrolled students, and the course structure.
The meeting was opened by the Head of the Midwifery Department, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hacer YALNIZ DİLCEN. During the meeting, students' academic and professional expectations were listened to, and suggestions were gathered to enhance the efficiency of the educational process. Following this, information was provided regarding the uniforms to be worn during the internship, and students were informed about clothing standards and requirements.
An introductory event was organized for students who joined the department through lateral transfer and as international students, providing them with information to support their adaptation process. Additionally, faculty members of the department gave detailed explanations regarding the course structure, answering students' questions about the process.
