Assoc. Prof. Dr. İlknur Dolu Appointed as Cultural Safety Officer within the Scope of the International COST Action

Assoc. Prof. Dr. İlknur Dolu, a faculty member in the Department of Public Health Nursing at the Faculty of Health Sciences, Bartın University, has been appointed as the Cultural Safety Officer within the Management Committee of the international COST (European Cooperation in Science and Technology) Action project titled CA22127 - COllaboratively DEveloped culturallY Appropriate and inclusive Assessment tool for Palliative Care EDUcation (CODE-YAA@PC-EDU), which is supported by the European Union.

 

Elected as a member of the Management Committee for the year 2024, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dolu will actively contribute to the project, which is based on international collaboration for the culturally appropriate, inclusive, and effective evaluation of palliative care education. In her role, she will support efforts to ensure cultural safety within the framework of the project.

 

As the Faculty of Health Sciences, we take great pride and joy in the fact that our faculty member, Assoc. Prof. Dr. İlknur Dolu, will represent our faculty in this significant international initiative. We extend our heartfelt congratulations and wish her continued success in her endeavors.
