A financial literacy training program, highlighted at the Presidential Council on Aging, was provided to the elderly residents of the 75th Anniversary Nursing Home, under the auspices of our Directorate, by İsmail Berat Uzun, Research Assistant at the Department of Child Development, Faculty of Health Sciences, Bartın University.

The training covered topics such as budget planning in daily life, income-expenditure balance, saving awareness, conscious consumption, points to consider in banking transactions, and precautions against fraud. The program aimed to contribute to the elderly making more informed economic decision-making processes.
At the end of the training, the nursing home residents' questions were answered, and the process was conducted interactively through mutual sharing and experience exchange. It was emphasized that Bartın University will continue its social responsibility and educational activities for all segments of society.
