A celebration was held on March 26, 2026, to mark the Department of Nursing at Bartın University’s Faculty of Health Sciences earning 5-year full accreditation. The event, attended by academic and administrative staff as well as student representatives, served as an occasion to share the pride of this significant achievement.

Speaking at the event, Department Chair Prof. Dr. Ayfer Bayındır Çevik emphasized that the accreditation process was the result of a long-term, disciplined, and dedicated team effort, highlighting the importance of sustaining a quality-focused educational approach. Nursing Department Chair Prof. Dr. Ayfer Bayındır Çevik stated that this success is not merely an indicator of the current state but also brings with it responsibilities for the future.

Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences Prof. Dr. Selçuk Baş, in his speech, highlighted the importance of quality assurance and continuous improvement in higher education, noting that the achieved 5-year full accreditation represents a significant gain in terms of institutional development. Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences Prof. Dr. Selçuk Baş, thanked all academic and administrative staff as well as students who contributed to this process, expressing his confidence that these successes will continue to grow.

During the celebration, thanks were extended to all stakeholders who contributed to the accreditation process, and the commitment to strengthening a culture of quality at the institutional level was once again emphasized.

Bartın University's Department of Nursing has validated the quality of its education and training in accordance with national standards through this significant achievement and will continue its efforts to train qualified nurses

in the future. We congratulate all academic and administrative staff, as well as our students, who contributed to this meaningful achievement; we hope that the quality-focused approach to development will be carried forward into the future with the same determination and motivation.
