BARU has certified the quality of its health education with the accreditation of its Nursing Department

Bartın University (BARÜ) Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Nursing, has been accredited for a period of 5 years by the Nursing Education Programs Evaluation and Accreditation Association (HEPDAK).

The Nursing Department of Bartın University (BARÜ) Faculty of Health Sciences has achieved a significant success, certifying its educational quality and academic competence. Following reviews by the Nursing Education Programs Evaluation and Accreditation Association (HEPDAK), authorized by the Higher Education Quality Council (YÖKAK), the Nursing Department was granted full accreditation for 5 years.

With this HEPDAK accreditation, the Nursing Department has proven that its educational structure, academic staff, practical training opportunities, assessment processes, and continuous improvement mechanisms comply with national standards. Furthermore, with the Nursing Department's accreditation, all 9 faculties of BARÜ now have accredited departments. Thus, the number of programs at BARÜ with nationally and internationally certified quality standards has risen to 37 (29 undergraduate - 8 associate degree).

Expressing his satisfaction that a program in the Faculty of Health Sciences received accreditation for the first time, BARU Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Akkaya emphasized the importance of program accreditation, which forms the basis of institutional accreditation processes, and congratulated everyone involved.
