Erasmus+ Agreement Signed Between Bartın University Department of Social Services and Potsdam University of Applied Sciences in Germany
Our Faculty Department of Social Services has taken an important step in its internationalization vision. A bilateral exchange agreement was signed with Potsdam University of Applied Sciences (Fachhochschule Potsdam), one of Germany's prestigious higher education institutions, within the scope of Erasmus+.
This agreement, which will be valid from the 2025/2026 academic year until 2028, covers student and staff exchanges at both the undergraduate (first cycle) and graduate (second cycle) levels. Under the agreement, which covers the fields of Social Services and Counseling, as well as Child Care and Youth Services, two students per academic year will be granted the opportunity to pursue six months of education, and one student will be granted the opportunity to complete a five-month internship. Additionally, one academic from each institution will be able to engage in short-term mobility for the purpose of teaching and receiving education.
The agreement also includes the possibility of blended mobility, which combines short-term physical mobility with virtual components. This will enable students to gain international experience supported by flexible and digital opportunities.
It is anticipated that this valuable collaboration will provide significant contributions to both our students and our academic staff at the international level.
