Ethical Evaluation of the Post-COVID-19 Pandemic Period: “Interview” was held.An interview on "Ethical Evaluation of the Post-COVID-19 Pandemic Period" was held on 26.05.2022 by the Ethics Committee of our University's Faculty of Health Sciences, as part of the 25-31 May Ethics Week Activities.

Making the opening speech of the online interview, Deputy Dean of our Faculty Assoc. Dr. Elif Karahan talked about the importance of ethics, which is one of the main branches of philosophy and tries to understand the nature of the concept of morality in order to form the basis of individual and social relations and to distinguish the wrong directly. He emphasized that with the COVID-19 pandemic, there are individual and social changes in many areas of life.
Dr. from Recep Tayyip Erdogan University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Medical History and Ethics. Instructor Member Nuray Demirci Güngördü stated that the COVID-19 pandemic is one of the biggest health problems of the 21st century and that the biggest impact of the pandemic is in the field of health, but there are changes in every issue that concerns people such as economy, tourism, agriculture and social life. He emphasized that the COVID-19 pandemic has had negative effects on health education and the delivery of health services.
Evaluating the post-COVID-19 pandemic period from an ethical perspective, Prof. from Ege University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Medical History and Ethics. Dr. Çağatay Üstün mentioned that the pandemic has revealed the implicit problems in the society, that rapid changes have occurred in societies and that humanity has adopted the new normal.
After answering the questions from the interview, Assoc. Dr. It ended with the presentation of certificates of appreciation by Elif Karahan to the valuable speakers. Participants expressed their gratitude.
