Students of the Faculty of Health Sciences at Bartın University (BARÜ) experienced the pride and happiness of graduation during the 2025-2026 Academic Year Graduation Ceremony.

The graduation ceremony was held on Monday, June 15, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. in the Graduation Event Area of BARÜ Kutlubey Campus. Students from the Nursing and Social Work Departments of the Faculty of Health Sciences celebrated this significant milestone together with their families, academic staff, administrative personnel, and friends. The program commenced with the traditional graduation procession, during which students marked the successful completion of an important stage of their educational journey and shared the joy of graduation with their loved ones. A total of 107 students from the Department of Nursing and 32 students from the Department of Social Work graduated and took their first steps into their professional careers.

During the ceremony, BARÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet AKKAYA, Bartın Member of Parliament Yusuf Ziya ALDATMAZ, Former Minister of Justice Yılmaz TUNÇ, and Bartın Governor Dr. Nurtaç ARSLAN addressed the graduates and congratulated them on their achievements. In their speeches, they emphasized their confidence that the graduates, equipped with the knowledge, skills, and professional values acquired throughout their education, would make significant contributions to society and the nation.

Prof. Dr. Elif KARAHAN, Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences, presented certificates of achievement and commemorative plaques to the top-ranking graduates of the faculty. Buket BAKIR, a graduate of the Department of Nursing, ranked first in the faculty; Özlem İNKO, a graduate of the Department of Social Work, ranked second; and Evra SEZEN, a graduate of the Department of Nursing, ranked third.
