International Nurses Week Celebrated with Sports Events

As part of the International Nurses Week (May 12-18), students from the Nursing Department of Bartın University's Faculty of Health Sciences organized sports activities to highlight the importance of the nursing profession while fostering solidarity and motivation among students.

Throughout Nurses Week, table tennis and football tournaments were held. Eight students participated in the table tennis tournament, while the football matches took place among 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th-year Nursing students. After intense and exciting competitions, medals and certificates of appreciation were awarded to the successful participants in both tournaments.

It was emphasized that such events, which support students' athletic and social development, serve as an important source of motivation during nursing education. The Faculty of Health Sciences continues to promote social and academic growth through student-centered activities.
