Motivational Project from Midwifery Students: Listen to Life with a Fetoscope

The project "Listen to Life with a Fetoscope" was organized by students of the Department of Midwifery at Bartın University. As part of the Social Responsibility Project course, the event was carried out under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Yeliz Çakır Koçak, led by first-year student Asude Muslu, with team members Dudu Gül Cirit and Şevval Akarsu.
Fetoscope Distribution and Professional Belonging
In conjunction with the white coat ceremony, 39 students were gifted fetoscopes. This symbolic gesture enhanced students’ sense of excitement and professional identity. Students shared that the gift made them feel closer to becoming a “real midwife.”
Appreciation from the Advisor
Dr. Yeliz Çakır Koçak thanked the students in the project for their self -sacrificing attitudes in voluntary studies, and expressed their gratitude to Betül Karaca and Mehmet Kocaman, who supported their projects with their spiritual support and donations in the process of supplying the fetoscopes.
