“Career Days in Nursing” was held on Friday, May 26, within the scope of the 9th Career and Employment Days held at our university on 24-26 May.
Career Day in Nursing; At Ağdacı Conference Hall, our Dean Prof. Dr. It started with the opening speeches of Sevim Çelik. prof. Dr. Sevim ÇELİK mentioned that Career Days in Nursing will be a very useful opportunity especially for our fourth grade students who will graduate this year, that being a bachelor's degree is not enough in their career journey, and that a graduate education is a necessity for their personal development together with their personal development. In this face-to-face presentation, Dr. ÖZ ESMERAY emphasized the increasing need for nurses in this direction with the aging society and the precautions to be taken for this. In the daytime session, which was held with the intense participation of our Nursing Department students, the questions that came after the presentations were answered.
In the evening session held at 20.00 Turkish time, our Head of Department Assoc. Dr. Moderated by Elif KARAHAN; Working in the US state of Texas, Dr. A presentation on "Being a Nurse in America" was made online by Nurse Kenan ÖREN. exp. Both. Kenan ÖREN emphasized that an important reason for international migration is the insufficient number of nurses all over the world. Then he explained the qualification criteria to be taken to work as a nurse in the USA, how to apply and the working systems. Questions from the participants were answered.
