"Nursing in Germany" Event Held for Our Faculty's Students

An informative event titled "Nursing in Germany" was held on November 27, 2024, for students of our Faculty of Nursing. The event was organized by the Faculty's Exchange Programs Commission under the coordination of Dr. Burcu Küçükkaya, faculty member of the Nursing Department and Unit Erasmus Coordinator.

The guest speaker, Specialist Nurse Esra Makal Orğan from St. Rochus Hospital in Germany, delivered a presentation focused on the conditions required to work as a nurse in Germany. Topics covered included nursing qualifications, equivalency procedures, professional advantages and disadvantages, differences in roles and responsibilities between Turkish and German nursing practices, and the legal rights of nurses in Germany.

The event attracted strong interest from students, highlighting the steps involved in the nursing application and adaptation processes in Germany. It also emphasized the cultural and professional distinctions between nursing in Germany and Türkiye.

We extend our sincere thanks to all students, faculty members, and professional colleagues who contributed to and participated in the event at both national and international levels.
