"Occupational Accident Prevention and Occupational Accident Notification Training" was held at Bartın University Faculty of Health Sciences

Bartın University Faculty of Health Sciences Lecturer Lecturer. Lecturer. Merve KIRŞAN BÜYÜKTARAKÇI held "Occupational Accident Prevention and Work Accident Notification Training" for undergraduate students on 18 March 2024. In the training, the concepts of occupational accident, near-miss, occupational health and occupational safety were emphasised; physical, biological, chemical, psychosocial risk factors for occupational accidents in health workers and ways of protection were discussed. In this context, the articles regarding the rights and demands of healthcare workers in the Social Insurance and General Health Insurance Law No. 5510 and Occupational Health and Safety Law No. 6331 were discussed. At the end of the training, it was explained how the process should proceed in incident notifications through case studies. The training was concluded with a question and answer activity.
