We, as the Faculty of Health Sciences of Bartın University, took our place at Bartın Sciencefest 2026, held in Bartın between October 15-17, 2026. Within the scope of the event, which aims to bring scientific knowledge to the community and develop scientific awareness in children, an educational and practical first aid workshop was held for primary school students.

In the "First Aid in Natural Disasters" workshop, conducted by Dr. Aylin KURT, a faculty member of the Department of Child Health and Diseases Nursing at our Faculty, the aim was to enable primary school students to gain knowledge and awareness about natural disasters and safe behaviors after a disaster. In addition, Research Assistant Dr. Emine GÜNEŞ ŞAN, a faculty member of our Faculty of Nursing, contributed to the event by serving as a health personnel. As the Faculty of Health Sciences at Bartın University, we continue our scientific and educational activities aimed at raising disaster awareness in children at an early age, disseminating basic health information, and improving public health.
