Prof. Dr. Elif Karahan, Dean of the Bartın University Faculty of Health Sciences, attended the meeting of the Commission for Strengthening and Developing Health Care Services in Public Hospitals as a representative of SABDEK.

The meeting, organized to enhance the quality of health care services, improve service processes, and evaluate proposed solutions to practical challenges, was held on September 28, 2026, at the Ministry of Health. Participants included the General Director of Public Hospitals and their deputies; the President and members of HEMDEK; the presidents of HEPDAK, HEMED, and the Turkish Nurses Association; faculty members; and directors of health care services from public hospitals.

During the meeting, efforts to improve health care services in public hospitals were discussed, and views and recommendations regarding the strengthening of cooperation between education and health care services were evaluated.
