The Courses Have been Started at the Faculty of Health Sciences

With the permission of the Council of Higher Education and the decision of the Council of Ministers, the students who enrolled in the Faculty of Health Sciences of our University established last year and enrolled in their first courses. Incoming students were informed about the city of Bartın and the university through the ‘Adaptation Event”.
The event was started with the speech of the Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences. Prof. Dr Sevim Çelik emphasized that the main priorities about the students are: “We will support our students with our educational activities and in every field they need. At this point, we hold open communication with the students at all times. We work with all our staff to provide a bright future for our faculty students. I would like to welcome our students who have joined us by choosing us.
Within the scope of the adaptation activities, the students were also informed about the city of Bartın by emphasising ‘safe and happy city’.
Through the orientation program, the information about the university, faculty and department are given. The opportunities around the student information system, R & D Project Market, Zero Waste Project, Rector's Communication Center, Distance Education Center and overseas learning and internship opportunities were also discussed.
Rector of the University congratulated the students who entered the first courses in our university. Dr Orhan Uzun said that our Faculty of Health Sciences was established last year and received its first students this year. This will contribute to the development of our country in the field of health in terms of raising qualified human resources. On the one hand, we aim to prioritise the development of our young people in our studies by taking our students to the centre, and on the other hand, we are aiming to achieve important works with research and development activities. With these thoughts, I wish the new academic year to be beneficial to Bartın University as a family where the students are the most valuable components. ”
