On December 25, 2023, the Faculty of Health Sciences at Bartin University organized a "Time Management Training" for students, presented by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sinem TARHAN, the Director of our University's Psychological Counseling and Guidance Practice and Research Center, as part of the Unit Risk Identification and Analysis Committee. The training emphasized the importance of time perception, highlighting the irreplaceable, irreversible, unbuyable nature of the concept of time, its equal distribution for everyone, and its status as a limited resource. The discussion centered around time traps such as being unplanned, lack of clear goals, demotivation, procrastination, rushing, avoiding responsibility, perfectionism, and difficulty saying no. Important recommendations were provided for efficient time management, including making decisions, doing the best one can, planning, setting priorities, being organized, seeking help, taking responsibility, and using information technologies for professional and personal development. The training concluded with active participation and positive feedback from both students and faculty members, engaging in a question-and-answer format and sharing insights on topics crucial for academic and professional success.
