Training on Hand Hygiene in the Beauty Sector was organized.

Within the scope of May 5th World Hand Hygiene Day, our Faculty and the Vocational School of Health Services conducted a "Training on Hand Hygiene in the Beauty Sector" on May 6th, 2024. Lecturer Merve KIRŞAN BÜYÜKTARAKÇI, from the Department of Nursing Fundamentals at the Faculty of Health Sciences led the training. In her presentation titled "Hand Hygiene," Mrs. KIRŞAN BÜYÜKTARAKÇI emphasized the crucial importance of hand hygiene in preserving our health. She highlighted that our hands, which come into contact with many microbes and pathogens in our daily lives, play a significant role in spreading infections, and ensuring hand hygiene is a fundamental step in disease prevention. During the training, practical demonstrations were conducted to show participants how to wash their hands properly. The training, attended by academic staff and students, concluded with the answering of questions from participants.
