Within the scope of 14 November World Diabetes Day, an online event called 'Diabetes with Questions and Answers' was held by the Nursing Department of our Faculty.
It is known that there are 537 million people with diabetes all over the world today. Diabetes, which is one of the most common chronic diseases in our country, negatively affects the health of the individual, family and society. Every year 14 November is celebrated as World Diabetes Day. Moderated by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ayfer BAYINDIR ÇEVİK, who has made important contributions in the field of diabetes. Nermin OLGUN and Prof. Dr. Şeyda ÖZCAN attended as a speaker. During the event, the speakers were Assoc. Dr. Ayfer BAYINDIR ÇEVİK answered the questions about diabetes and presented valuable information by conveying the known truths and mistakes about diabetes to the audience. 100 people attended the event, which lasted about two hours. After the questions from the participants were answered, the event ended with the presentation of a certificate of appreciation to the speakers.
