Within the scope of TÜBİTAK 1002-C Natural Disasters Focused Field Study Emergency Support Project, the project “Identification of the Situation and Health Care Needs of Disabled Earthquake Victims Before and After the Earthquake: The Case of Malatya” received support.

Within the scope of the “1002-C Natural Disasters Focused Field Study Emergency Support Project”, in which Ebru Cirban Ekrem, Lecturer in the Nursing Department of the Faculty of Health Sciences of Bartın University (BARÜ), is involved as a researcher, “Identification of Situation and Health Care Needs of Earthquake Victims with Disabilities Before and After the Earthquake: Malatya Province Example” project received support. In the project, which will be visited and observed in the camp areas where disabled people live in the province of Malatya, the conditions in which the disabled people live, the earthquake experiences of the disabled people before the earthquake, the current situations of the individuals that the earthquake caused a disability, the difficulties they encounter and their health care needs will be determined. The information obtained in this direction will be analyzed in detail. Detailed reports prepared within the scope of the study will be submitted to TUBITAK and related institutions.
