World Social Work Day Webinar: Social Work and Field Experiences in Disasters

“World Social Work Day” is celebrated every year in the 3rd week of March by the International Federation of Social Work (IFSW). Following the "Kahramanmaraş Earthquake" within the scope of World Social Work Day, a webinar titled "Social Work in Disasters and Field Experiences" for social work students, professional staff and academic staff in order to raise social awareness, Assoc. Dr. Zeynep TURHAN and Res. Ass. Edited by Ece PARLAK ÜNLÜ. Webinara Amasya University Suluova Vocational School, Property Protection and Security Department, Emergency and Disaster Management Program Lecturer. Meliha DÖĞÜCÜ and Social Worker Yasin ŞAHİN from Antalya Konyaaltı Social Service Center were invited. In the webinar, theoretical and theoretical information on the foundations and practices of social work in disasters was integrated with field experiences. The event was concluded with the questions and answers of the participants.
