'' Current Approaches in Insulin Treatment and Applications in Diabetes and Blood Sugar Monitoring '' Webinar Was Held
A webinar titled "Current Approaches in Insulin Treatment and Applications in Diabetes and Monitoring of Blood Sugar" was held by the Faculty of Health Sciences Department of Nursing on 22.04.2021.
At the event, which started with the opening speech by Faculty of Health Sciences Vice Dean Assoc. Dr. Elif KARAHAN. Mrs. KARAHAN ‘with the awareness of the importance of diabetes and its management in the pandemic process, we thank to our esteemed speakers, Assoc. Dr. Selda GEDİK ÇELİK and Exp. Sultan YURTSEVER ÇELİK, "she said. Afterwards, Assoc. Dr. Ayfer BAYINDIR ÇEVİK took the floor to present the first topic of the webinar by gave it to Mrs. YURTSEVER ÇELİK. Mrs. YURTSEVER ÇELİK provided information on blood glucose monitoring in diabetes control and follow-up, insulin treatment options used in the treatment of diabetes, use of insulin and complications. The second presentation of the webinar  was realized by Assoc. Dr Selda GEDİK ÇELİK. Mr. GEDİK ÇELİK made a comprehensive presentation with visual examples on the current approaches used in insulin treatment and applications in diabetes, and blood glucose monitoring. After the speakers' presentations, the questions posed by the participants were answered. At the end of the event, Certificates of appreciation were presented to our esteemed speakers by Assoc. Dr. Elif KARAHAN.
The webinar, where important information was presented on the effective treatment and management of diabetes, which is one of the most common chronic diseases in the world and in our country, was held with the participation of approximately 250 people. We would like to thank our esteemed speakers and participants who honored us with their participation in the webinar.
